| I try to steer folks away from supplements with iron in it....it can cause nausea and leave a metallic taste in your mouth...among other things. However, if you tend to have issues with anemia, then hopefully they will help. The vitamin C amount is pretty low...is that the correct amount listed? Like TWS, I also take more magnesium (I take a separate supplement in addition to whatever is in my multivitamin) as well as more flax & fish oils. However, since you're also new to supplements, just getting in the habit of taking them is a good start. You can always switch to a different brand of multi-vitamin if you feel like these aren't working well for you. Also, what brand are you using? Be sure to check the label for hidden carbs. Good luck! |
