Has anyone ever taken Acai berrry while on Atkins? I can't find the carb amount?

It's the capsules. I haven't started taking them yet cause I couldn't find out if there were carbs in them. But I have found other threads on it since I wrote that. This is all that's on the bottle...

Just a word of warning to anyone thiinking of getting the 'free' sample of acai berries that is being publicised around the internet.

There is a scam about where you agree to pay a small postage charge but in the small print the company says that if you dont cancel before 14 days are up you will be sent and billed for a months supply for ever!!

From what victims are posting on the many scam warning sites the free samples dont arrive till the 14 days are up by which time the months supply has beensent and the payment taken. It appears difficult to impossible to get through on the phone to cancel so many people have had repeated sums taken from their bank accounts.

Also the company has an extra way of getting money from you by charging for a weightloss support scheme whether you use it or not under a different name taking a smaller sum each month till you manage to find a phone number that is answered and cancel this separately!!

So if you want to get your sample please use a card that can be cancelled quickly (not one linked to your bank account) and has a low limit of funds for the taking.

How do I know? Luckily not because I was taken in, but because I was irritated by all the email messages I was getting touting acai berry (as used by Oprah!) so did a google search and found this site among many other warning sites.

you are soo right. i did fall for it. LOL i got it for my daughter and when your checking out a couple of pop ups are there asking if your interested in some hoodia and some sort of gum to help lose weight and i just scrolled down instead of looking at them. then just a few days after they took out about 40 bucks. had to wait an hour to speak to someone and they said i didn't select "no thanks" on the pop up so they charged me. I ended up cancelling my card and was reimbursed from them for everything and got the products anyway.which my daughter hasn't used still. =) But it was quite a hassle.

No problem! It's easy!!! If you look toward the top of the Atkins page, you'll see some dark blue "bars" across the top of the page with clickable links (portal, forums, social groups, tickers, shop, FAQ, etc...)

Just click on "tickers" and you'll see all kinds of choices. You'll have a snazzy Atkins ticker instead of Tickerfactory's. (Not bias, oh no, not me! LOL)

Well, I'm afraid I can't help you there since it's a supplement. Does the website from which you bought it (how sneaky of them, those scammers) have any nutritional info on it? Since they were sneaky in the way they sold you their product, if they did have nutritional info on their website, I don't know how much to trust it. For that matter, I don't know how much acai berry extract would *really* be in your capsule, if any. Sorry I can't help you further.
