            Re: Cauliflower Pizza

Yes its regular cauliflower. I use the frozen kind in a bag at places like walmart for about 1.30 a bag. This is how I do it and I've made the pizza A LOT. lol

I empty the bag into a microwave dish/bowl large enough for it to fit. put a little bit of water in it. I used to boil it but you can get the same effects with less water and it doesn't take 20 minutes to get it dry like you need for the recipe. So just enough to steam. You could also use those ziplock steam bags if you have them. I put mine on for about 8 minutes in the microwave while I'm prepping other stuff. Once its done empty out the little bit of water that should be remaining. I also use some paper towels on top of the cauliflower and push out remaining water. I think having the cauliflower dry makes a big difference with the recipe. Once you've done I use my mini food processer to "rice" the cauliflower. Just a few spins you don't want mush only the consistency of rice. Some people just use a potato masher if they don't have a processer and I've heard it works as well. Then proceed with the recipe. I get 2 good size (12 to 16 inch maybe) pizzas out of a bag of cauliflower. You want to use your hands and press the cauliflower dough as far out to the edges of the pan as you can and try to make it even so it bakes evenly.

This is wonderful! Was looking for something special and this was great. Actually kind of fun to make too. Thanks for the tip about drying the cauliflower. We couldnt actually pick up the slices. Think maybe the crust was a little moist. Taste was awsome though. Tip my hat to cleo

If I bake mine on a cookie sheet lined with parchment, I've found that it doesn't stick. I'm able to pick up my slices as well. My favorite combo is red and green peppers, onion and sausage...YUM!

                          Re: Cauliflower Pizza

I was a bit skeptical, but since I've made some of her recipes before, (the Oopsie rolls are great!) I decided to give it a try. DH and DS wanted pizza last night, so I made this for me (they wouldn't even try it). It was really good! At first a bit difficult to pick up, but I let it cool a few more minutes and I was eating a "slice" of pizza again. It has a really good flavor and can't even tell it's cauliflower.
