Hey Steve...just welcomed you on your other thread. Go to www.fitday.com this is a free site where you can enter your foods and get the counts. Do you have Dr Atkins book?

fitday could possibly become your best friend. I use it daily even after 4 years. It works great and keeps you in line.

To answer your question though, from fitday.com, the count comes to...

      approx. 13g total carbs - 3 fiber = 10g net carbs.

        Re: Help with Carb count

Elsie I do have the book. Left it at home this morning when I went to work. I have my hands on it now so I can look a few things up.

Higgie, I have registered for fitday and have tried looking some things up but I was a bit confused using the site. I'll have to spend more time looking it over. Thanks for the time to figure out the carbs for me.

Fitday does take a bit of time to figure out but once you got it is so helpful so don't give up on it. Worth the time.

As I mentioned in my other post, I took time this evening and I am amazed at how great fitday is. I was relying on estimates and a hand written food diary... no more!

I missed that post. Glad you got a handle on fitday. I was most successful last time using it. Especially as I was not eating enough calories. There is a place to set goals...journal. Great site...I recommend it all the time. Keep up the great work!!

bell peppers are under sweet peppers. I wasn't able to find them the first few times I looked.

That's one of the most useful parts of using fitday. Many people succumb to the natural appetite suppression of ketosis and don't eat enough. It's also great for keeping track of your fat/protein/carb ratios.
