            I'm challenging myself to 1.5 miles on the treadmill 4 times a week, so 25.50 miles before my birthday on March 30!! *lacing up my walkin' shoes*




            The Nutshell: I'm a 43 yr old grrrrl, 5'4". Married to the best guy I've ever met (besides my Dad), with one very active toddler and I run my own pet sitting business.

            I lost 4.8 lbs before Atkins. I started Atkins 2/10/07 and have lost 11.2 lbs so far.
            February Abs Challenge: 1000/950 March Abs Challenge: 125/2350
            February Mileage Challenge: 14.9/15 miles March Mileage Challenge: 1.13/25.50 miles
            March Double Chin Challenge: 2/31

              I'm In..... But Not Sure How Many Miles My Guess Will Be Around 50 For The Month...ONE QUESTION DO WE CHECK IN EVERYDAY???

                    you can check in everyday - or once a week but when you do give me the total miles you've done. if its everyday then its : today I did _____ miles.
                    if you prefer once a week : this week I did ______ miles.
                    And when I come on, I update, usually before I sign off for bed - so if you sign on just after I update, leave your mileage and the next time I pop on I'll add it.

                          I need some advise first. For 3.5 months I have been exercising approx 5 times a day(30 minutes each time). I weigh in the 230s. I bike and walk. I bought an ellipical machine and I am planning on just keeping track of the miles using that(will not count my walking or biking miles). What is a reasonable monthly goal? Any ideas?

                            Morning! Here are my goals for the month:

                            100 miles treadmill walk/jog
                            600 minutes of cardio/video

                            I think they're doable for me!

                              I am going to sign up for 60 eliptical miles. I did some reading and I think that should be reasonable for my first month of doing this.
